At home in the heart of Yeppoon’s vibrant arts hub

Fig Tree Galleries is located beneath the historic fig trees at the old Yeppoon Post Office. Integrating an award- winning art gallery and a workshop space, it's the perfect place to explore, be inspired, and take home a unique piece of art.

Our little gallery is full of secrets....
Pop in for a visit and discover for yourself.

Current Exhibition

Art of the Book, debut solo exhibition by Alana Read - Librarian, Watercolourist, Photographer, Miniaturist, and Calligrapher.

By pushing the boundaries of what a book can physically become, by breaking it down to it's essential parts and building it back up again, as well as capturing the elements of books in different ways, Alana has created a
unique exhibition.

Whilst exploring her varied artistic skills sets, Alana sympathetically celebrates books, with the intention to bring the stories within their pages to life in two and three dimensions.

Opening Night - Sunday 10th May 6pm (Mother's Day)

In gallery from 10 May to 5 June, 2026.

Upcoming Exhibition

Three by the Sea

Opening Night - Sunday 7th June 6pm
