100 Days and Beyond

Please join Jo and Nikki in celebrating our art-making journey. This exhibition means a great deal to us. It’s been challenging, beautiful and full of growth, and we’d love you to be part of the celebration.

This exhibition brings together two artists connected by a shared commitment to 100 days of daily practice and creative discipline. Starting from the same challenge, their work moved in different directions as the days unfolded. Nikki explored mixed media, layering and colour, while Jo worked intuitively with landscape, abstraction and atmosphere. 100 Days and Beyond celebrates process, persistence and the quiet shifts that happen when artists give themselves time, curiosity and space to grow.

Nikki Wex

Nikki is a mixed media artist whose work moves between portraiture, landscapes and birds, with a strong focus on layering and colour. With a background as a Graphic Designer and Art Teacher, the 100 Day challenge became a chance for Nikki to experiment, loosen habits and follow ideas as they emerged. Since then, her work continues to evolve, shaped by curiosity and an openness to where the process might lead next.

Josephine Morgan

Jo’s work explores internal experience through landscape, abstraction and atmosphere, using a restrained palette and intuitive mark-making. Strongly connected to water, her paintings shift between underwater impressions and distant seascapes, creating mood and emotional presence rather than literal place. Guided by an interest in beauty found in nature, her practice invites reflection, awe and a sense of connection, seeking light and quiet moments of hope.
